Here is our update on the Alpine Accessories Ski and Snowboard shop expansion and remodeling. The cinder block wall is down now, leaving a ton of dust to be cleaned and vacuumed up. New drywall has been put up in the new south side of the store and Ashley has been busy painting. The cashiers counter will now be in the center of the store. New apparel racks have been purchased to better display womens ski apparel, and mens snowboard jackets and pants. The next phase is to get the ceiling put back together and then the carpeting will be installed throughout the store.
After 7 years in our current location Alpine Accessories is expanding and remodeling. In 2004 owners Rick and Laurie Pasturczak purchased the retail condo unit at 9219 S. IL Route 31 in Lake in the Hills IL. April 2011 the adjoining unit 9221 S. IL Route 31 was purchased. The two units are being made into one new store. All remaining merchandise has been packed up, the old walls taken down, old carpeting removed and the cinder block wall being removed. Sean has been putting photo’s up on our Facebook page.

“The email I got from you said you wanted to know how the wrist banjees are used. I use mine for almost everything! It is small enough to keep in my pockets when I don’t want to wear it, so I can always have it on me. I keep in it laminated ID cards with health history & emergency contacts, my license & ATM card & gym membership card & sometimes cash or other cards, all which I’ve laminated so that when I’m alone somewhere, even in the pool, if anything happens to me I at least won’t be a Jane Doe!” (Diana G)
